Regular operation of Kumari 365 days service in lockdown days
Headquartered in Chabahil, Kathmandu, Kumari Savings and Credit Co-operative Ltd. (KUSCCOOP) is continuously operating the 365-day service. The organization has been providing regular services to its members even during the nationwide lockdown time by the Government of Nepal due to the threat of Covid-19 infection.
The organization has its own building in Chabahil and service centers in Kalimati, Thamel, Sankhu and Balaju Kathmandu where members can take services of savings and credit, remittance and ATM card request. As the organization is providing services to its members by operating the office regularly even in difficult situations and has provided 365 days counter service continue from 10 am to 2 pm, there is no problem for the members to keep and withdraw money and get remittance service.
The message that the Co-operative is a service-oriented business is clear as even the banks are not able to operate their branches regularly in the time of nationwide lockdown.
